Dental veneers are thin ceramic shells from 0.2 to 0.5 mm thick that adhere to the outer surface of the front teeth. They can adjust the shape, length and colour of the teeth, as well as close gaps or correct slight distortions in the alignment. Due to the fact that they are extremely thin, their construction requires minimal removal of the tooth surface and filing is not needed at all. This makes them completely harmless to the teeth. Adhered correctly they gain exceptional strength and can last for over 15 years, without changing their colour and brilliance over time.
